I won't sell just yet. I would expand to other non vegan options, research the market, and see where the opportunities lie. Register with Uber Eat and others, and look at expanding the geographical reach of the biz. I believe you can make a success out of that biz bro. You can do it!

What I definitely would not do is take any more money out of my investments and savings. Cut your losses and try and get some training in how to get a small business off the ground. Maybe find someone who can mentor you one day a week for free? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Tough one. 😢

Can i include my 401k? If i include 401K then i just hit 100k but if i exclude my 401K then it would be 80K in two platform investments and a little cash . Please let me know if i can count 401k too

Internal investment and external investment are vital.. I just got to figure out what can I learn next move into... I haven't figured that out.. Yet

That's just bonkers! It's more about impressing other people when that amount of money is being spent on one day. Fair enough if the couple or their family are loaded but if that's not you, why put yourself under financial strain for years to come?!

I stopped bashing individuals against their decisions to love from a distance with parents, siblings or extended family alike. Whatever the situation with her son, I pray he forgives himself first then his mom and move towards dialogue. She may be oblivious of her offence. Talk it out. Mothers are not infallible. They make mistakes as do we.

Budgeting is underrated but it is very important, and sticking with your budget is even more important.

My situation is not typical as I had to take medical retirement after a life changing accident, but I had a public sector pension that I had never really thought about, never expected that I would get anything back from it as my granddad died at 65 and my nana got nothing so I had quite a poor impression of pensions, but mine came through for me. I got a lump sum to pay off my mortgage and a low but secure income for the rest of my life. I bet there are many people like I was who actually have some kind of workplace scheme that they may not be aware of. It can be a real blessing when you need it most to find out that you do.
